After a three-month contract with another Realtor without my home being sold, and having to move and leave my house empty, my phone call to Barbie was a gift from above. Barbie and Shay had seen my house previously and believed in its value and in their ability to find a purchaser for it. They were able to offer me their aggressive and respectful service at a time when the market was saturated and bringing house prices down.
It is never easy to leave a home one loves, and it was especially difficult to deal with the sale of it from over 1000km away. Barbie and Shay alleviated many of my worries by being in constant contact with me, and by taking care of the small maintenance issues without even being asked. My neighbours were also keeping an eye on the property and were impressed with care and respect Barbie and Shay showed to the sale of my home and to them as my support system, and will likely hire them to sell their home in the near future.
Once a purchaser was found, Barbie and Shay had everything in place to easily get through a quick sale, despite the awkwardness of now living in a different province. It was unfortunate for me that I was selling during a slump in the market, but I know that Barbie and Shay worked hard to get me the best price and best purchaser possible. I dream of one day returning to the Sunshine Coast and will definitely ask Barbie and Shay to be my Realtors if I do.
