On March 18 the new mortgage rules go into effect:
* 35 Year Amortization NO longer available, maximum 30 year amortization
* 90% refinancing NO longer available, maximum 85% refinance option
If your are currently in the market for a new home, it is very important that you check with your Mortgage Professional to determine how these changes may affect your plans. Ask to be 'pre-qualified' now so that you can take advantage of the present mortgage options and have them hold it for you for a 90 day period.
